the taller, cloaked figure loomed over the smaller in a way that was rather intimidating. but the smaller one didn’t seem to mind, as he never did. it was his fault his older brother was always around him, & it was his fault that today he especially pissed reinhardt off. whether intentional or not, nero would never say, but the air between the two left something to be desired. any wrong sound WOULD AGITATE REINHARDT more than it probably should’ve, until finally he snapped at nero in their native tongue. the booming voice made people turn their heads, but nero surprisingly remained calm, though he was rather f l u s t e r e d that people were staring at them now, rather than going on with their lives.
❝ brother, please. people are watching, they’re staring. . . ❞ he urged, grasping upon the cloak his brother wore, only for his hands to be grabbed as the older bent down to be e y e level with him. & he spoke as if they weren’t related, & he had no idea WHO NERO WAS. ❝ what are you gonna do about it? ❞ he asked ; nero’s eye widened, and his lips pursed.

Walking had become a past-time, something to do that didn’t involve a war. No strategies needed to be carried out when she walked; no one depended on her to stroll through the woods; no one died because of her mistakes out here. It was just Kamui, the crickets, owls...
... and someone standing near a stream. Startled, as she’d made sure everyone was accounted for before leaving, she approached with caution. But it was unnecessary: it was the new recruit, picked up near the border.

Morgan hanged upside down, legs wrapped around a tree branch to keep her from falling. Watching everyone with a smile as they did whatever they do around camp. Waving to Rose she called out. “HEY, ROSE! Rose, hey hey, Rose! Do you think I can stay upside down for a whole 24 hours? I bet I can!”
