(Drawing done by @devvado) So last time on Trial Blazers, I let the party buy a mystery bag from Fantasy Costco for each trail they’ve completed. They’ve completed two, so Vander got two. The first one had the scuttle buddy. The second had, by far, the most glorious thing I’ve ever seen in Dungeons and Dragons. It contained the Raging Flaming Poisoning Sword of Doom (Fantasy Costco and all of its items are from The Adventure Zone, btdubbs) and boy howdy was it a trip. Vander’s player (@spiritednug) rolls an 18 on the table and the first words out of my mouth were “Ooh, that’s in the range...” Not ten seconds passed. “...Oh shit.” I described the scene, the sword ripping out of the bag, flames and everything. Vander equips it to his back to spite everything. Not anything in particular, just everything. He now has probably the best sword I’ve ever seen in Dungeons and Dragons and is using it as an accessory and I think that this sums up my campaign pretty much. Also we have over 100 followers!
