Name: Trisha
Gender: Female
Star Sign: I don’t believe in astrology.
Height: 5′0″
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Lock Screen Image: It’s a picture of a galaxy with the song lyrics “Every painted sky a canvas of Your grace” overlaid.
Ever had a crush on a teacher?: No. I can’t imagine that would be a very comfortable situation.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: I should be graduated from college. I’d like to be in a good job and married. If I have kids, I’d like to be a stay-at-home mom. Honestly, though, I don’t really care where I end up as long as I’m following God’s will for me.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?: Outer space. Or heaven.
What was your coolest Halloween costume?: I was Hermione Granger in 4th grade. My brother was Harry Potter. Both of us are blonde, so we spray dyed our hair brown. Also, we each wore ties that my dad had, which were HUGE on us. Finally, we each had a wand which was basically just some junk my dad found in the basement; mine was as long as my arm; my brother’s was about 6 inches long. We were quite the pair.
Favorite 90s TV-show?: Pokemon (very late 90′s). Also Fraiser.
Last kiss?: Never been kissed.
Have you ever been stood up? No.
Have you ever been to Las Vegas?: No. My dad’s parents go a couple of times a year, though. They’re very responsible, but my Grandma loves gambling, so they go with a certain amount of money they’re willing to spend and enjoy themselves. Vegas wouldn’t really be my scene, but I would love to go with them one time, just because they love it so much and I want to experience it with them.
Favorite pair of shoes?: I have a pair of backless, light blue and white pinstriped keds that I continue to wear despite the fact that they’re close to falling apart. I also love my brown, combat-style boots.
Favorite fruit?: I love all kinds of fruit.
Favorite book?: I can’t pick a favorite book. I love too many. I am currently reading the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson, and am loving them,
Stupidest thing you’ve ever done?: Uhm.

Everybody is talking about how Tumblr isn't sending notifications, and I had no idea because I don't get any in the first place.
*complains loudly about the frustrations of bra sizing*
Rules: Answer the questions, tag some people, and write your own questions. I was tagged by a fantastic lady: @historian-in-pearls. Thank you so much (and I’m sorry it has taken me so long to get to this)!
1.) What book, movie, and album (1 of each) would you bring to a desert island? That’s very difficult. I would probably bring the Bible as my book, because it’s long and I would have a lot of time to really ponder it and better understand it. My album would be by Casting Crowns; I’m not sure which one, but definitely one of them. My movie... no idea. Can’t really think of a movie off the top of my head.
2.) What’s your favorite smell? We have a wooden box in my house where we keep all of our essential oils. When you open the box, the air and wood inside are just saturated with the bits of scent that have leaked out of all the bottles. It probably sounds like it would smell really gross, but it’s actually a really lovely smell.
3.) Any routines before you go to sleep? Kind of. I generally try to get into bed, do whatever final junk on my phone I want to do, put down my phone, take my sleeping medication, and then read until I feel the meds kicking in.
4.) Are you a sock, shoe, sock, shoe, or sock, sock, shoe, shoe person? Sock, sock, shoe, shoe. Without a doubt. It would honestly bother me to be uneven with one sock and shoe on with the other foot barefoot; I don’t even like to have one sock and one bear foot. I would feel this way regardless, but this is especially due to the fact that I don’t wear shoes in houses.
5.) What are you most excited for in the upcoming month? Honestly? Nothing.
6.) What item in your closet most encapsulates your style? My jeans. Jeans are the most versatile item in most closets, and that encapsulates my “style” because I don’t really have a style... I just wear whatever and it doesn’t really make sense as a “style,” but it makes sense for me.
7.) What was your best birthday and why? My best birthday was probably my 16th birthday. We went all out and had a Harry Potter themed party. People dressed up and we decorated. My mom made all kinds of food from the books and we even printed up some spellbooks and things we found online. It was a really cool event.
8.) How did you choose your career/course of study? I kind of fell into it. I’m currently a chemistry student. I took chemistry in high school, and when my depression/anxiety were getting extra severe, there were two places I felt safe: my vice-principal’s office (which he gave me almost completely unbarred access to for two years) and the chemistry room. I really like the chemistry teacher, and I found it very calming to sit in the back of the class and learn the chemistry. I’d do chemistry problems when I was overwhelmed because they made sense, and that made me feel better when the world was crashing around me. When picking classes for college as a freshman, it was natural for me to take chemistry; I needed a couple science classes, and I liked chemistry. Then I just sort of kept taking the chemistry classes. I don’t know, at this point, if it was really the right decision for me, but that’s how I ended up where I am.
9.) Favorite city you’ve ever been to? Basically any city/town in Ireland. I have a lot of extended family in Ireland, and I traveled there when I was 12 and got to meet many of them. Everyone in Ireland is so kind and caring and just wants to help you out. Ireland is beautiful. Just stick me in Ireland and I’m good.
10.) What one piece of wisdom would you pass down to your younger self? I’d tell her to hold tight to her Catholic faith, because it’s the one thing that’ll stay steady for her.
My questions:
1. What did you want to be when you grew up? 2. How do you feel about the direction the world is moving? 3. What experiences have either grown your passion or built your distaste for reading? 4. What is your favorite color? 5. If there was literally nothing that could hold you back, what kind of career would you like to pursue? 6. How do you feel about your family? 7. Tell me about a defining moment that has made you who you are today. 8. What is something you wish to improve about yourself? 9. What is a quote that has gotten you though a hard time? 10. What calms you?

I was kind of considering starting to wear ribbons in my hair occasionally instead of ponytail holders and was really liking the idea and wondering where I could go to buy some ribbons, but I saw tradcatfem's post about hair ribbons and now I have a bit of a reluctance over the whole thing. *sigh*
Am I the only one that sometimes has trouble telling if people are trying to represent Lily Evans or Ginny Weasley in their art/aesthetics/etc?
"It is beautiful and well-written, reflecting truths that can be so hard to touch, let alone share."
The reason why I do it.
The reason why I let myself become him.
The reason why I let myself become vulnerable.
The reason why I talk about the things I don't talk about.
Thank you.
For accepting me.
For supporting me.
For letting this fuck-up, no good waste of an existence (sometimes) be me.
