The disappointment is real. Trusted brand @eauthermaleavenefrance has launched a new sunscreen filter (not yet available in Canada) named TriAbsorB. However, It seems that in order to promote it, parent company @pierre.fabre.group decided to throw fear-mongering shade at Octocrylene, a long-approved filter that is proven safe and effective in recommended dosages and formulation. This controversy didn’t really reach North America because the TriAbsorB filter is so new it hasn’t yet been approved by Health Canada or the FDA, but it was a stink in France. And it’s disappointing because #Avene is such a solid brand, and parent company @pierre.fabre.group does good, humanitarian work in less fortunate countries (see my IGTV vid “86% of profits”). Forgot for a moment that, despite good works, business is business. 😑 Find details via @btyaly — the bio links to the website, of course, and the image/post you want is in the REVIEWS section. . #avene #aveneintenseprotect #sunscreen #triasorb #laboratoirespierrefabre #sunfilter #innovation #octocrylene #octocrylenegate #sunprotection #antiage #prevention #hyperpigmentation #skincareroutine #skin #skincare #skincareingredients #review #btyaly #skincareaddict #skincarelover #beautyblogger #frenchbeauty #frenchpharmacie . #repost #Beautygeeks (at Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/CSZ6PQJjZ6i/?utm_medium=tumblr
