Tribute Tuesdays

Hey guys!! I have decided I read so many fanfics here and don't always reblog because I don't want my page to be filled with fanfics 😅 but as a creator myself I know the best way to appreciate someone's work is to like and reblog. So I have decided that every Tuesday, I'll be doing a "Tribute Tuesday", where I'll be reblogging my latest favourite fanfics. #HappyBirthdayGregHaymes & #TuesdayThrowback: Today would have been my good friend, Greg Haymes’ 69th Birthday!! I still think about my friend and how much of an influence and champion he was for the Capital Region Art, music, and theater! The last time I spoke to him was on his 68th Birthday at a benefit event for the now late Caroline Mother Judge held at McGeary’s Irish Pub in Albany,NY. We spoke for a bit and he was glad my friend and I found our table to sit at for the show since it was quite packed. He was wearing his Mardi Gras beads around his neck as he performed with “The Ramblin’ Jug Stompers”. When I asked him why he was wearing the beads, he told me it was for Mardi Gras. That was the last time I spoke to Greg and heard him perform a month before his passing. His kindness and his support for everyone, including myself and many others, was a blessing to have and he is still loved and missed by all who knew him. Happy Birthday in Heaven Greg.
