Germany Day 2&3
The next couple of days in Germany have been great. First we spent the day on a boat headed down the Rhine on a castle viewing tour. Then we spent quite a bit of time walking through Ruedesheim before heading up into the vineyards for some amazing shots of the Rhine and the surrounding country side. This is something that I would love to take the chance to see again some day.
On the third day we headed out of Ruedesheim and toured a monastery on the way to Marbuerg. The history of the place was amazing and the size was impressive. I was more interested, however, in the walking tour we had of Marbuerg after arriving. Some of the German students (Sara, Sandra, and Andre) showed us around Marbuerg and some of the primary historical sites. This included the Grimm Trail and the castle..
Germany Day 1
Spent the day at a soccer game after a few hours in the bus. The soccer game was fun and the atmosphere was a bit crazy. After the game we were back on the bus for another couple of hours to get to Ruedesheim, a major wine town in Germany where we had a nice dinner and then spent a little time exploring before going to sleep.
Germany
We are at Rudesheim (probably missing an umlaut) for two nights. Saw a Bundesliga game and got my souvenir for the trip.
