I am normal about Trigger Elliot I swear. That being said, something about the way that he's fucked up and the way that's affected Vahn has me in a chokehold. Slightly off putting 30-something-year-old man is an absolute dickhead to anyone he meets for inscrutable reasons (it's trauma) and as such inadvertently isolates the person in his care (amnesiac, would be barely out of college if they could have gone). Isn't that fucked up? Isn't that so awful? Doesn't it hurt that almost immediately after Trigger pushes Vahn away they begin to make friends, to find people who care about them, to build up a support network. Isn't it sickening realizing that the only reason Trigger made some new friends as well is because he lost a fucking leg.
