Shinya changes her appearance every decade or so. She usually prefers being blonde, currently is a redhead or a brunette, depends always on how she feels.
She wears gloves—always mostly due to her power.
She doesn´t know her mother and lives with her father in Japan with his new family of angels who don´t really like her.
She is the vice principal of her father´s former school and also works as a Korean/Japanese fashion and beauty blogger in her free time.
She has been in love with a ghost once, he couldn´t move on and she helped him be able to find peace and move on.

Her good friends are Lace, Sky, Aarseth, Cloud, and Rayn.
Shinya almost killed her best friend; Angelic once by accidentally giving her drugs, which she overdosed on the first time and Shinya resuscitated her. She has felt guilty ever since..however they´re still extremely close.
Rayn likes to use her as a model from time to time.
Shinya has also hooked up with Aarseth once and they don´t talk about it.
She met her friends when she was going to high school for the very first time in 2010.
Shinya is also very old but hasn´t aged a day since she´s entered her twenties.
She is also arranged to be married to a Japanese Werewolf pack in order to make a truce between families. Shinya is totally against that but she honestly doesn´t know what to do cause it´s either her or her half-sister who she actually loves and wants her to live a happy life, so she decided to go in her place.
In the future she does meet a nice boy she falls in love with but tragedy strikes and they can´t be together, causing Shinya to go through the arrange marriage however she becomes pregnant but ends up leaving her child in the care of the Shame family and he grows up being part of the Shame—Pierce Coven.
Her son is named Hachiman and she passes as his godmother in order to be close to him without any problems from her family.
She´s constantly searching to belong to somewhere and being fully accepted with all her faults. And the only place she feels like that is at work and with her friends but she would like to go somewhere that feels like a home.
She is currently the new headmistress at an elementary/middle school that is the sister school to where she works at. It´s called Northhaven.
