We gotta trim that post. We gotta get better at trimming posts in general.

( y'all for the fucking love of fucking god please trim your fucking posts I don't want to scroll past one fucking roleplay for five minutes because y'all don't wanna trim your fucking post. Deal with it. The new trimming system sucks but fucking trim it because seeing one roleplay 7 times in a row getting longer and longer and longer is fucking annoying to scroll past. Be courteous to other fucking role players. Too bad you don't like it. Trim your damn post or find somewhere else to roleplay. I'm so fucking sick of seeing people not trim their post after ~10 replies and they switched to paragraph form 7 replies ago. TRIM YOUR GOD DAMN POSTS do you like really long and obnoxiously annoying posts? Cuz I sure as hell don't. At least on desktop I can block the long ass untrimmed bullshit. On mobile I can't. So. Trim. Your. Fucking. Posts. :) )

Wow, lots of people are posting these horrendously long threads today. So I’m going to teach you how to snip it down a bit. As you can see above, this is a pretty long post. But if you move your mouse to the reply at the top, a little x will appear. Let’s try clicking it.

As you can see, all the replies have been removed. There is even a helpful little tag to put them back if you did this by accident. Now it is possible to only remove specific posts if you use xkit, but if you use vanilla tumblr you don’t have that option.
