Featured dish: Lamb, duck and dry aged beef trio
We’ve been working on revamping our blog and brewing up some ideas for new dishes.
Chef Roshan has been working on this beautiful and mouthwatering trio plate:
Dry aged beef with poached wine cantaloupe pears
Baby lamb kofta on a spiced mini pita
Pan fried gnocchi topped with duck breast
To answer the first question on everyone’s mind, yes it does taste as good as it looks!
Chef Roshan had to go off the grid when he was conceptualizing this dish. This was specially crafted for a birthday celebration and the main idea behind the event menu was to create something luxurious but at the same time appeal to a large crowd.
The gnocchi paired with the hearty flavour of duck breast create the perfect balance and add the warm comfort food component to the dish. The cantaloupe and dry aged beef is a combination inspired by cantaloupe and prosciutto but taken a level further. Last but not least, the baby lamb koftka adds an element of familiar flavour to the whole dish.
