the cast of the hills voted and decided they wanted their first trip of the summer to be to dubai, united arab emirates. they’ll be spending 5 days in the city ( june 28th - july 2nd ) all expenses paid by the producers and mtv under the one condition that they stir up ALL sorts of drama during the trip. keep reading to find out all the details of their trip.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27th
the cast has been provided with three private jets for their flights to dubai and you’ll be flying with your house, no exceptions. the flights leave at 5pm california time on wednesday, june 27th and they arrive in dubai at 8am dubai time on thursday, june 28th. (for the sake of making things convenient we’re going to pretend eastern standard timezone = dubai time).
you can either stay in the burj khalifa armani hotel or the burj al arab. click on the names of the hotels for pics and info. ROOM MATES ARE MANDATORY! you could have one or two or you could take a big suite or penthouse and have four, five or six but you must have at least one.
THURSDAY, JUNE 28th
the first day in dubai the cast has been given as their own. go exploring. there’s lots to do like going to the top of the burj khalifa, going to the dubai mall, checking out the beach. for more ideas click here and here.
FRIDAY, JUNE 29th
the day can be spent as you please but friday night the producers are hosting a club event at cavalli night club in honor of the cast being in dubai. the event will begin at 3pm pst/6pm est/11pm gmt. drinks and bottle service will be provided the whole night in hopes to get everyone drunk enough to do something stupid for the cameras to see.
SATURDAY, JUNE 30th
the producers are assuming everyone will be hungover on saturday so they’ve made this part of the trip optional. they’ll be paying for whoever wants to go skydiving all afternoon. of course you’ll be sky diving with a highly trained professional instructor so it’ll be totally safe and everyone should come. if you choose not to partake, make sure you at least spend your time enjoying all dubai has to offer.
SUNDAY, JULY 1st
the producers rented out a huge yacht for sunday’s festivities. starting at 2pm pst/5pm est/10pm gmt a yacht party will begin complete with alcohol, jet skis and water hoverboards for the cast members to try out. swim, soak up the sun, enjoy a couple of drinks and have a good time.
MONDAY, JULY 2nd
the final day in dubai before having to pack up and head back to santa monica. monday afternoon the producers have arranged for everyone to head out into the desert to either try some off roading in 6x6s or try riding a camel, or you could just admire the natural beauty of the desert. this is optional but highly encouraged.
TUESDAY JULY 3rd
you’ll return home on the same jet you arrived with alongside your housemates. the flight home leaves at 5am dubai time on tuesday and you’ll arrive back in santa monica at 4pm california time.
