Uncomfortable was an understatement. Not that Kahari had much of a say in the decision, he was going to stay quiet (a difficult task in itself) in the passenger seat until the deed was done. He’s learned to keep his dissatisfaction with Trip’s lifestyle to himself. There were so many arguments that were had before that Kahari heard the message loud and clear. Trip was his own man and either way it went, Trip was gonna be his day one. And even with his own personal reservations, like how his birth mom was on the receiving end of this life, it definitely bred a bit of resentment. But for now, he was idle, trying to peer through the tinted windows with cautious eyes. “Why every car ride with you f-f-feel like a cautionary tale?
