These are casino-made, in house! They're nice and pretty, AND they don't control me or my Boss." "Really?" "Yeah, when has anything in a casino EVER been addictive?" "...Umm..."

Inktober Day 15: Mysterious

This is my Cuphead OC: Trollina Toadstool. She is a Scandinavian troll with a long tail and even longer hair that brushes the ground when she walks. Upon being attacked, she can use it as a whip. She lives under the bridge that separates Inkwell Isles 2 and 3. Despite her reputation of being mysterious, shady, and anti-social, she is good friends with Beppi the Clown as they find common ground in being seen as scary beings when they’re truly not (not always anyway). Being a troll, she has a mean, mischievous streak, but she’s not completely without morals. 

On most days, she’d much rather play it safe, and discuss the progression of her growing mushroom garden with Cagney Carnation over tea, then go to the local casino and risk the theft of her soul and dignity by King Dice and his no good Boss. 

In ‘Ready‘ mode, she is approached in her cape and hood appearing very quiet and reluctant. She doesn’t appear to be much of a threat, but oh how she loves their underestimation of her. 

In ‘Wallop’ mode, the hood is off, releasing her big dark brown hair which can sting as badly as a real whip. Her tail is constricting and can cut off her enemies’ circulation if she twists hard enough. 

In her final Phase mode, she shapeshifts into her true form, a gigantic hairy troll with a big nose and ice blue cat eye pupils (I’ve included Cuphead for scale). She can use her improved strength to crush her enemies, and her skirt of stalactites to pierce them in a double attack.  

In ‘Knockout’ mode when beaten in a Boss Battle, she accidentally chops the majority of her hair off. Her locks turn white, and the stalactites scratch her cheek as they fall from her hair. She is visibly upset.
