a lot of people keep on wondering why there were sugary foods on the dinner table in Veneer's flashback even though he and Velvet's parents were dentists (which would probably mean they're more cautious with sugar), but I'm kind of wondering if food just looks like that in Mount Rageous (and wherever V&V lived with their parents).
you can see the fruit that Crimp puts in the shoulder pads. to us as humans, it looks like candy or some sort of jelly (I dunno about the prune tho lol), but Crimp was talking about smoothies.
either my theory is correct or smoothies are made with candy in that universe lol.
what do y'all think?
ANOTHER animation detail I noticed for Velvet and Veneer: the difference in how Velvet and Veneer hold their spoons. (ik it's kind of a weird thing to notice)
I don't entirely know what it means, but here's what I think: while Velvet holds her spoon like most people would, Veneer grips it. I'm gonna guess it's because Veneer seems to be more clumsy, so he probably makes sure not to drop it. that or him gripping his spoon that way just shows more of his goofy personality lol.
I can see the resemblance.
Veneer looks so happy.
physical touch is definitely Velvet's love language (...to some degree XD). she's always grabbing Veneer or getting really close to his face.
y'all realize that in two years, the Trolls series will be around for ten years?!!! I feel so old XD
maybe I'm just now realizing this, but it's pretty cool to see how even in Velvet's character design (meaning her jewelry) that she was meant to have more of an antagonistic personality.
while Veneer wears one choker around his neck, Velvet wears two, the bottom one adorning a crystal shaped like a diamond. same with the bracelets, too. Veneer only wears one bracelet on each wrist, but Velvet wears two.
Veneer wears one simple golden hoop earring on his right ear while Velvet wears long, dangling, diamond-shaped earrings on both ears.
lastly, Veneer doesn't wear anything on his head while Velvet wears a tiara (when she's on camera she has the two long spikes attached at the sides).
here's the meaning:
do y'all think this is accurate?
