More shippy short stories, this time a happier one with Tron and Kelly

Kelly felt herself lose her balance on the side of the bridge, and toppled over.

“KELLY!!!” Tron cried as he watched her disappear from view

Without thinking, he dove in after her. His body hit the water, and his circuits began going haywire, but at least he didn't need air to reach her.

But he wasn't going to give up.

He saw Kelly sink deeper and deeper into the water, and he fought with his short-circuiting body to swim after her.

Finally, he caught up to her, grabbed her, and swam as fast as his slowly dying body would allow him to.

Pulling her onto the shoreline, his body twitched and his eyes flickered.  Kelly coughed as she breathed air into her lungs again.  She turned to her rescuer, who was barely moving.

“TRON!” she screamed

She pulled herself over to his side, and placed his head onto her lap, petting his face.

“Oh Tron... why did you do it?!” she asked, tears flowing down her face

He reached up and touched her face lightly.

“O-oh how I wish I could feel y-your touch... j-just once....”

Kelly shook her head.

“I-It's ok! W-w-we'll fix you up, and y-you'll be good as n-new!”

“K-Kelly... my b-body is short-circuiting, and m-my wires are fried... I-I don't think I'm g-going to m-m-make it...”

“PLEASE TRON! No... Mark! D-DON'T LEAVE ME! I-I LOVE YOU!!”

She pressed her lips against his hard, plastic face that would be his lips.

Tron's eyes flickered violently, and his body flailed uncontrollably.

“I-I-I-I... l-l-l-love y-y-y-you...” Tron replied

And with a single spark, his eyes became dark, and his body became limp.

“MARK!!!!”

Kelly buried her face inside his coat as her tears poured down like rivers.

But Tron's dead body slowly lifted from the ground, and lights swirled around him.  His hard, man-made body melted away, his hair softened, and his eyes became organic.  His body slowly lowered back down onto the ground, Kelly's eyes filled with shock the entire time.

His eyes fluttered open, looking onto the face of the one he loved most.

“I-I'm alive...?”

Kelly grabbed him, and hugged him tightly.

“YOU'RE ALIVE! AND HUMAN!”

Mark looked at his hands in surprise.

“I-I'm h-human again...?”

He looked at Kelly, and pulled her into a deep, meaningful kiss.

“I love you, Kelly... and you also helped me return to my human form... I can't thank you enough...”

She laughed.

“You being here with me is enough! I love you too..”

They embraced in a tight hug.

A very short, but sad story of some shipping between myself and Tron.

BE WARNED, YOU MIGHT CRY A LITTLE! AND I AM SORRY!

Kelly laid on the ground, nearly motionless.

“KELLY!!!” Tron yelled as he ran towards her limp body

He dropped down onto his knees, gently holding her back up with one hand. Tron's eyes glowed a dim yellow. She coughed, and blood dribbled down from her mouth.

“Oh god... WHAT HAPPENED?! WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!” he yelled at her

Kelly weakly turned her face to his. “T-they were going to h-hurt you... S-so I t-tried to s-stop them...”

Kelly coughed again, this time it splattered onto her shirt.  She weakly reached up to Tron's face.

“O-oh Tron... n-no... M-Mark... y-you mean s-so much t-to me...”

Her coughs became more violent, and Tron held her up closer to himself.

“Kelly... you mean a lot to me to...”

She used some of her remaining strength to pull herself up to his face and gently kiss his flat, plastic mouth.

“I-I l-l-love.... y-you... M-Mark...”

Kelly's eyes slowly closed, and her whole body went limp.

Tron's eyes turned a bluish hue.

“I-I love you too... Kelly...”

His hard, plastic skin softed to flesh, his hair fell from his head and drooped down over his face, and his eyes became their once dark chocolate color again.

Mark looked at his free hand, and saw his terrifying figure had disappeared, and he was human again. For the first time in years, tears rolled down his face. They dropped onto Kelly's cold face.

“What's the point in being human if you're not here with me...?”

Mark pulled her close and cried into her lifeless shoulder.

That was fun drawing Tron again! He’s my baby (but I’d never ship him with myself)

All the poor baby wants is love (seriously), and shipping makes him happy (since he’s normally very depressed)

I just wish people would ask more about him...

citycatslack , all these voice samples I keep hearing from austinger that I'm tempted to find someone to do something for Tron (cuz I have a feeling I could do Imp's with a bit of tweaking in audacity) Nothing NSFW mind you, but more to get an idea of what he'd sound like... Goddamnit you two...

I’m tempted to draw Tron jacket less, so I can show off the wind-up key on his chest.

Most of the time, you don’t see it because his jacket covers it up, but it’s the reason he can’t wear a shirt…

If he doesn’t regularly wind it up, he can’t move. He won’t die, but it’ll be like he’s trapped inside his own body…

(He also has no genitals, cuz he's an animatronic, sorry!)
