Erhard is the goat! When everyone shunned Naofumi Erhard was the only one to believe in his innocence and kept treating him like a regular customer. He was the man Naofumi could rely on everytime he needed something and Erhard never thought that Naofumi was a bad person, he didn't even believe that the Shield Hero was a demon like the rest of the citizens.
Even when Naofumi brought a slave child he bought and gave her a weapon to fight for him Erhard never doubted Naofumi and completely understood why he would do it.
Erhard is hella underrated and deserves more recognition for everything he has done for Naofumi and his allies.
