According to Mark's latest emergency meeting, Iron Lung will "probably not" be in theaters next weekend. There will be weekday matinees, but a second weekend is far from guaranteed. He's also said that he'll try to make physical copies available in the future, but he can't make any promises.

Mark is currently in a very tight race with a Disney backed juggernaut. Iron Lung might beat Sam Raimi's latest film to be the number one movie in America on its opening weekend - which could be its closing weekend, too.

If you want to see Iron Lung, tonight is the night. Get a ticket. Grab your friends. Feel free to close your eyes if it gets too intense (I had to close mine several times because of flashing lights, and a few moments of gore). Hell, even walk out if you need to. If it sucks, hit da bricks.

But on the other hand: prepare to love this film. It's dark, it's grim, it's confusing. It's courageous, it's flawed, it's beautiful.
