He hadn’t been home in days. At first, Tru figured he was with Izzy, but when Iz said he hadn’t seen him either, she began to worry. She had taken to checking everywhere he tended to frequent, but it was the last place she expected that she actually stumbled across him.

Boop - tru and lin
The first time Lin called Elise “momma”, Tru sobbed. She knew it was for the best that he didn’t see her as his mom, but goddamn it broke her heart. It still aches a little every time Lin calls Elise mom, but she ignores it because this was her choice. She just loves her son so much that she always wanted better for him than she was able to give, no matter how much it devastates her.
