Trucker cats have long been kept as travel companions to control pests and provide company on the road.
Tumblr, I’d like to introduce you to my cat, Daxter. I used to post him on r/cats, r/oneorangebraincell, and r/truckercats on Reddit on occasion. Daxter was a rescue who was found abandoned by his mom, sick and near death. He was found, nursed to health, and then given to me by a dear friend as an over-the-road travel companion. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
