True SoulDad Doodles

Alright time for some context LOL

All of these doodles are based on different RPs with my character True SoulDust. He's recently been doing this thing where he's been saving kiddos from being killed and has been trying to help them. Though he would NEVER see himself as a dad or like being called that, the dynamic has taken my heart. It's so cute.

CONTEXT:

First doodle (top left) This is from an rp where True found an AU where he, Papyrus and Frisk were all still kids (and Gaster was still alive, it was several years in the past). He met Frisk as a child and spoke to her briefly. When she first saw him, she was (obviously) scared because he was a monster and her mother always told her monsters would want to hurt her, so she just innocently asked if that's what he was going to do.

Second doodle (top right) is from a more recently rp where the child Frisk he met in the first drawing was captured and taken to the king to be executed. He came just in time to save her, which was a huge thing for him considering he wasn't even able to save his own Frisk - so saving this one was a big deal. He ended up taking her to Crow's clinic since that was the only place he felt she would be safe, and they fell asleep on his couch TvT

Third doodle (bottom) Another recent rp that's a part of True's "child saving" arc, he stumbled on a smaller Aliza from @anikymation 's "Regret" AU, but a Horrortale variant where the Regs (Regret Sans) of that world was dead and Aliza was alone and being chased by hungry monsters. True, again, swoops in and saves her from almost being eaten, wraps her up in his cloak and takes her somewhere safe TvT.

This whole True SoulDad arc is healing my soul I tell ya s;djghasg

I was so happy with the "bang" pose I drew for my DustDust drawings that I wanted to draw True that way, too heheheh

idk if I've clarified this before but True's powers involve explosions. He can overload his magic/bones/items with so much DT that he can make it explode like a remote bomb OwO

His abilities are very inspired by Bakugo from MHA as well as Reze from Chainsaw Man heheh

True SoulDust

HOOO boi where to EVEN begin.

Hello. Hi. Allow me to introduce you to my most recent obsession. 😅😅😅

I'll TRY to keep this brief but I suck at doing that. This is True SoulDust. A SoulDust variant (For regular SoulDust's story for context, check out the novel on Tapas!). Here's the short version: In his AU, Frisk has died. She was captured by the Royal Guard and Sans could not make it in time to save her. In a fit of rage and grief, he absorbs her soul and unleashes hell upon the Underground.

Now having a merged human soul, he's an unstoppable force. He has a lot of kewl magic and now uses dual bone sickles attached by a chain to fight. The chain is made up of links that he molded himself from pieces of every Guardsmen's armor that he killed. The 2 golden links are from Undyne's armor and Asgor's crown, and the 1 silver link is from Papyrus' sword. He keeps a piece of Frisk's sweater sleeve tied at his belt and wears a small part of Papyrus' scarf around his neck. His cloak and armor have become so dusted that they're super dark and turning black.

He can still talk to Frisk. She appears as a ghost, sometimes in his head and sometimes manifesting as a spirit. She's really one of the main things that helps keep him calmer than his SoulDust counterpart. He's still totally insane, but he keeps it in check a lot better with the help of Frisk.

Uh...I've been really obsessing over this character, guys...I've already kinda started writing some little stories and lore for him in my discord server lolllll....[sweats]...he's just a lot of fun to write about...idk...if you have any questions about him I would be...MORE than happy to answer.

More True SoulDad Help

Some more True SoulDad doodles because this dynamic is slowly killing me.

For context, to the left is a 6 year old Aliza from @anikymation 's Regret!Horrortale AU (this Aliza is from a Regret!Horror AU where Regs died or something and wasn't there to save Aliza. True ended up swooping in and saving her last minute and now she clings to him like glue.)

True doesn't like that she's so attached to him because of what he is, but can't help but be there for her anyway ;sadhgas [crying noises].

To the right is Soul Frisk as a child, from an AU where she was captured as a kid and True swoops in to save her as well.
