Recasts AREN'T counterfeits they're recasted by workers then that sculpt is sold to someone who can't pay the legit anyway at a fraction of the cost. Same happens to Pokemon merchandise or any other thing, they get originals, make molds and make recasts at a fraction of the price. Most reproductions of products come from China because working laws are much different in there and most factories take advantage of that. Including well respected big name brands from the rest of the world.

- If it doesn’t come in teal then spray paint it and deal with the chips of paint falling off and the dyes staining your accessories like I did :(

There's a collector who is so aggressive and anti-recast but her fucking icon is a recast. NOBODY is saying anything because she's "popular" in the community. I'm calling bullshit. This community is 99.8% hypocritical ass patters. It's ridiculous.

When I first started back 06' legit waiting time were like from 30 to 45 days if you want faceup, now legit waiting times are like 3 months *minimum*?! D: WTF?! some places are going as far as say 6 or 8 months!!! this are not one-single-artist company, this are regular company! if you have to compete on the market knowing recast delivers sometimes on the same week you ask the doll then WTF you don't make an effort to make legit costumers happy??? if Steven can make it faster so can you!!!

Is Stephen/Lou a reliable bjd recast maker? I'm about to drop 250 on a doll and it's a lot to loose for a 17 year old...
