The True Property Ph Experience
Last summer, it was really an amazing opportunity to work at True Property Ph. A start-up company under Kickstart Ventures, it has been providing people with services on real estate matters. Upon applying and entering, I was put in a department that I have no clear idea on what it is about. I was put under the Marketing Department. Before, all I think of when I hear about marketing is that it is a broad and comprehensive concept covering a lot of areas. The idea of marketing is not only grounded on the thought of selling a product. It also takes in consideration other ways one can do to further promote an idea. Marketing also encompasses the ability to build and maintain relationships with those people online who have already established a connection with the public. Doing so can further improve a strategy. In the office, that's similar to what we did. Social Media outreach, Skyscrapering, blog posting, and even copyrighting. These made me realize that marketing isn't all about promotion but rather establishing connections. This phase has helped me a lot and I think it'll help me even more when the time comes for me to enter the professional world.
