Ingredients: 12 Oreo cookies. 8 oz 226g cream cheese. 12 oz 340g semisweet chocolate chips. 1/4 cup 60ml heavy cream. 1/4 cup 60g unsalted butter. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 cup 30g powdered sugar. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Using a plastic bag and rolling pin, or a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Crushed Oreo cookies, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until a dough-like consistency is formed. Press parchment paper into an 8 x 8 inch 20 x 20 cm square baking pan, allowing a small overhang on the sides for ease of removal. Evenly press the Oreo truffle mixture into the baking pan's bottom. While you make the chocolate topping, put it in the fridge to set. Mix the heavy cream, unsalted butter, and semisweet chocolate chips in a bowl that is safe to use in the microwave. Stirring constantly, heat the mixture for 30 seconds at a time until it's smooth and completely melted. Transfer the liquefied chocolate blend onto the layer of Oreo truffles within the baking pan. Using a spatula, evenly spread it out. The chocolate should set, so place the chocolate bar in the refrigerator for at least two hours. When the chocolate solidifies, remove the chocolate bar from the pan by using the overhanging parchment paper. After putting it on a cutting board, cut it into bars or squares.
