Why is tickling hot?

Sure it's hot that I can make you squirm and laugh with just the stroke or squeeze of my fingers. That I can control your mind and body with something so mischievously playful yet sadistic all at once. That I can make you plead and beg if I hit just the right spot.

But you know what truly makes tickling hot?

You trust me to tickle you. Want me to tickle you. You trust me enough to relinquish your control. Trust me to give it back if you safeword. The communication so it can be the most fun and magical for both of us. And the intimacy afterwards as we put one another back together.

Ships, or pairings, are established based on a healthy amount of trust, at least for me. It's weird, but I treat my pairings as if they were a real relationship, because I'm speaking for my characters. So when something unfortunately happens, and the pairing is split, I deal with that "heartbreak" myself, in a way XD

I have emotional attachments to all my ocs. So when I pair with someone, it is because I trust you A LOT and are comfortable with doing so.

It's important that all OCs in pairings get a good amount of attention and love, and to make sure people show love to their owners too ^^

Another vision and meeting with Vorin.

Trust Is Key

The vision came again. Silavut wandered the empty landscape and came to the little cabin. Vorin was sitting by the fireplace, rocking slowly.

“Welcome back.” He sounded rather uncaring. “So you’ve taken up with the lady. Interesting. Not something I would have expected. Then again, you were rather adamant about doing what you ‘feel is right.’ Does this feel right?”

Silavut stood on the precipice of the doorway, uncertain whether he should enter or leave.

“No answer? No defiant or rebuking remarks? Shame. I was hoping for a little entertaining conversation.”

“I don’t know what’s ‘right’ any more.” Silavut stepped inside and sat down. “I feel betrayed. You kept all this from me, everything. The sorceress, the future, your seer ability. Why didn’t you tell me?”

“It was to protect you, of course.”

“Protect me? Protect me from what? From knowing the truth? Knowing that I was supposed to be the one with Sehlan to seek out and defeat the sorceress? That’s rubbish! If you knew so much, how come you don’t know where she is? How come I shouldn’t be with Sehlan if we’re to defeat her together?”

“You may feel that way now, but I know you’ll feel differently once you become what you’re truly meant to be. As for the sorceress, she has the power to prevent scrying her. On the matter of Sehlan, I did not want you to become so attached as you have. For if you lose her, the hurt is even worse if you had kept your distance.”

“Of course. Because you lost someone, you think that will happen to me. Is that it? So what does that mean, ‘what I’m truly meant to be’? ‘A great wizard’, I know, I get that, but is there more? Then you’re telling me the sorceress has powers you can’t even match? Now tell me how the hell was I supposed to not get attached, travelling with someone like her? You should have known it was inevitable. Two people, travelling alone together, being through what we have, bonding…? Of course it would happen. I didn’t expect it to, either. Yet it did!”

They sat in silence for several moments. Vorin continued slowly rocking.

“Say something!” Silavut said, frustrated.

“Even a wizard and a seer cannot know all things. There are limits to the power. The sorceress thinks her power is limitless, but one day it will run out, but not before she creates ultimate destruction. Which is why you must stop her.”

“How can we stop her if we don’t know where she is??”

“Look to the dragon. Sehlan trusts the dragon. You should trust her if you’re to be with her. If you cannot trust her, then she cannot trust you.”

Silavut sighed. He’s right, he thought sourly. Damn.

“We may not meet in this place again. My ability to hold myself here is waning. If we do, it would be only briefly. Take care, my boy. Remember, trust is key.”

The scene faded and he awoke. Sehlan was sleeping soundly by his side. He brushed aside a lock of hair that had fallen in her face and she stirred slightly but stayed asleep. She looked so peaceful and beautiful right then and he didn’t want to break the spell.

He carefully shifted away and slowly got up so as not to disturb her. Sitting on the edge of the bed he replayed the vision in his head. ‘Trust is key,’ Vorin said. How could he trust something like a dragon? Yet if she trusts it, and he trusts her, by that logic he should also trust the dragon, as Vorin implied.

Silavut shook his head to try and clear it. He then felt Sehlan’s hands slide up his back and over his shoulders. Her head rested against his back. When she reached for him in her sleep and he wasn’t there, she woke up to see him sitting there.

“Something wrong?”

“Nothing, just a weird dream.” He didn’t quite lie, but it wasn’t the full truth.

“Lie back down with me. Come on.”

“I’ll be there in a minute, I have to use the toilet.”

“Don’t be too long.”

He saw her slightly pout as he got up and went to the bathroom. “I won’t, I promise.” Entering the bathroom, he closed the door behind him and looked at himself in the mirror with the moonlight through the window. He looked haggard and worn. Probably because it was night and he wasn’t at his best right now, having just woke up from another dream with Vorin. Damnit, Vorin. What the hell? He wasn’t sure what to do now.

After a few minutes of staring at himself, mentally going in circles, he went back to the bedroom and laid back down beside Sehlan who sighed contentedly and snuggled against him, wrapping an arm around him. Unable to contain it, he smiled. Now he knew what to do.
