𝑰𝑻 𝑰𝑺 𝑼𝑵𝑬𝑿𝑷𝑬𝑪𝑻𝑬𝑫 𝑯𝑶𝑾 𝑻𝑯𝑬𝒀 𝑻𝑨𝑲𝑬 𝑻𝑶 𝑬𝑨𝑪𝑯 𝑶𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹. he is among those she counts as her friends. they even take lunch together , sometimes. it has theseus befuddled most times. stumped , suspicious even , when he stumbles across them laughing together one day at a pair of words amusing only to them. an inside joke. theseus doesn’t understand. few do. perhaps it had started when she replaced a ruined pair of his brightly colored socks. flashes and all. she couldn’t say , just knows that it is. he is her friend and has , to her surprise , been swiftly supportive. verbally so. even if she doesn’t always understand what he means , that same enthused tone encourages her , coats the words she supposes he picked up in his recent trip to the united states. a habit of his , picking up phrases. she’s corrected and perfected his french notes. or perhaps it is just the french part of her that does not understand. but the intention is clear.
