What to expect when dating: Justine Avesnes

I was tagged by @wannabecatwriter for this! Thank you <3, this is a very fun tag :).

Well I think we can all agree that Justine is hard to get to begin with! She will only date you if your status is higher than her own, so that she actually climbs the social ladder while climbing into your pants! But of course, that’s not what we want to know right now. We want to talk about those secrets that Billy never knew (and never had to know because it was Justine who chased him and not the other way around). How can one sway her true heart and have a succesfull date no matter what your social status is? Here are five steps to instant succes!

1. Treat her to a fancy dinner, dress up in an expensive tux. Justine loves money and status. She wants her entire life to be haute couture and haute quisine. You will often find her in her formal wear, just because she loves dressing up and looking like she’s the queen of the world. So if you want to impress her, make sure she does feel like the queen of the world and definitely make sure you look like you could be her prince. You are of course expected to pay for everything, including that expensive bottle of champaign she will definitely order.

2. Compliment her appearance and her accomplishments. Justine loves to be recognized like a true celebrity and she definitely loves compliments. She knows she’s very beautiful but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to tell her. Justine puts a lot of work into her appearance, so you better notice it! Besides that, you will score extra points if you know about her accomplishments as a painter or as a celebrity. Tell her you saw her paintings in an art gallery and loved them, or simply mention you loved that picture of her in one of the celebrity magazines you read. Anything that is confirmation of her looks, amazing skills or celebrity status will score you major points with her.

3. Drop names of important people you know. Even if you aren’t very important yourself, it will help if you can show her that you do know some important people in town. Are you friends with a high noble like a Shallow or a Lobos? Drop those names! Justine will definitely be interested in your high society network.

4.DON’T talk back to her! Justine is a strange girl who might say some really strange stuff that you might not agree with, but if you want to keep her, don’t let her know. She will not accept anyone fighting her points of view or her opinions. In her eyes, she’s always right and all her crazy plans are justified. So even though you might not want your possible future children to be married to a certain family, if Justine has decided that’s going to happen, you have no say in it. So be prepared to hold your tongue and to accept anything she throws at you, IF you want to succeed in dating her that is.

5. Excell in a certain skill, preferably something artistic. Justine is artistic herself and she loves art. Wether it’s music, drama, fashion or painting, she will appreciate the skill. So if you want to impress her, follow some piano lessons or pick up a paint brush. Even jamming on that guitar your grandma gave you ages ago will improve your chances of scoring the Avesnes founder. If you lack any real talent and can’t produce any art, make sure you are interested in it and that you have knowledge of famous musicians and painters. This way at least you’ll have something in common to talk about.

Your founder as teen Tag

I was tagged by @trembling-hands , thank you! <3

Rules: Reimagine your founder (or a sim you made as an adult) as a teen! Maybe even on prom night?

Man it was hard to choose a founder! I mean, both Zorah Diamond and Justine Avesnes were super interesting teenagers. There’s another tag I’m tagged in that is also interesting for Justine though, so I decided to pick Zorah! I especially started up my game for this to create her as a teen :).

Zorah was a rebellious teen. She hated her parents and her parents had a very difficult time cooping with her as well. She basically did everything that her parents wouldn’t allow, just to annoy them. She’d skip school a lot, date dangerous guys and would stay out until after curfew way too many times. She’d steal her mother’s creditcard to buy expensive stuff like the newest iphone and she refused to get a job herself to pay back the money she stole. At school, Zorah’s classmates knew her as that dangerous girl that hardly showed up in class and would probably knife you if you talked back to her. She wouldn’t date highschool boys, only college guys. This also meant she didn’t go to prom.

When she was 18 years old, her parents decided it was time to seriously do something about her attitude and sent her to an instutition for rebellious and criminal teenagers. She spent two years there and was then kicked out for bad behaviour and lack of improvement. It was around this time that Zorah started to realize her life was basically fucked and she’d never be able to take care of herself. She changed her attitude a little, not doing anything criminal anymore, but she was still unable to earn her own money. She finished highschool, though she barely graduated. This was really her only accomplishment as a teenager. The day she became a young adult her parents decided they couldn’t handle it to take care of her anymore and realized that the only way Zorah would learn to stand on her own two legs was to just throw her into the deep waters by herself. So that’s how they ended up kicking her out with nothing but some old clothes that she was wearing and a busticket to Hidden Springs.

Zorah never saw her parents again as we all know from the story, though she did manage to grow up properly and have a worthy life!

Get to know my sims Tag

I was tagged by @rosiesimming once again! Ty <3 Since I did the last sims tag for Justine Avesnes, I’ll do this one to the new heir of the Rags to Riches legacy: Jack Diamond.

The interview is below the read more buttin since this one is long as well ->

1. What is your sim’s favorite food?: I never checked this. Gotta remind myself to check this after work and edit this part. If I forgot well this is proof I did.

2. What is your sim’s favorite color?  Same

3. What is your sim’s zodiac sign? Same

4. Does your sim believe in “love at first sight”? Not really. Jack is only a teen and he hasn’t been a teen for very long yet. I don’t believe he has truly felt love yet. He likes Lucy of course, but he’s not necessarily in love with her. 

5. What is your sim’s sexuality? Straight.

6. Is your Sim a cat or dog person? (or both?) Well if Jack had to choose he’d probably choose dogs since he grew up with one, but in the end he prefers horses over any kind of pet really.

7. Adding to the previous question, if your sim were to have a cat and/or dog, what kind/breed(s) would it be? I feel like Jack would be the person who would only take in a dog if it’s a stray. So any breed would be fine really. I don’t see him buying a dog, I see him bumping into a dog that will follow him around to the point that Jack would decide to just take him in.

8. Does your Sim have a best friend? Yes! It’s Betty! He met her when they were kids and now that they are teens they still go to the same school and are in the same class together. They have a small tradition of going to the festival together.

9. Does your Sim have a favorite life stage? Well, Jack is liking his teens so far! Of course he hasn’t been a young adult yet so he can’t judge this question at his current age.

10. What is your sim’s ethnicity? Caucasian, though Zorah has some non-caucasian genes in her I’m pretty sure of it (her skin is quite tanned), Jack inherited his dad’s skin so he looks pretty caucasian to me. I don’t really think of my sims as part of a specific ethnicity or race though. They could be pitch black and still have an asian face for all I care. That’s the beauty of sims, unlimited freedom!

11. If your Sim could travel to anywhere in the world, where would they visit? Jack would probably go back to Hidden Springs to check out the town where he grew up and see how his old classmates are doing.

12. If your Sim was a castaway on a distant, uncharted island, who would they bring? His horse Raven! I would say either Lucy or Betty, but I don’t want to spoil the story haha!

13. Does your Sim have a favorite tv show and/or movie? Jack is excitable so I feel like he’d watch those silly Japanese game shows where everything is just one big mess of hyperactive weird shit lol.

14. Does your sim believe in the “simulation theory”? What’s the simulation theory?

15. Does your Sim have a favorite kind of clothing to wear? I’m horrible because my sims always wear the same outfit: whatever I picked for them in CAS or when they aged up, lol.

16. Does your Sim have a lucky charm? Nope. Maybe he should have something for when he goes competing with Raven...?

17. What kind of music or singers does your sim listen to? Whatever is popular at the time.

18. Does your Sim have a favorite family activity to do together? Jack has a wonderful memory of going to the festival together with his mom when he was a kid. He’ll probably follow that example when he becomes a dad himself. Right now he’s too busy figuring out girls to think about his mother haha.

19. What is your sim’s age? 16

20. Does your Sim have a dream job? Get to the top of the horseman career.

21. What is your sim’s favorite beverage?  No clue

22. What is your sim’s favorite dessert? Well my sims tend to eat the birthday cake a lot so let’s say that one :P.

23. Does your Sim have any siblings? if so, do they get along with all of them? Jack has two halfbrothers but he never met them. They are back in Hidden Springs and were young adults already by the time he was born.

24. What activity/hobby makes your sim the happiest? Horseriding of course!

25. If you could meet your sim, would you be friends with them? Definitely. I think Jack is a great lighthearted guy who will be a lot of fun to hang out with. He also has a lot of female friends, so I’m sure we’d get along well.
