I just assumed that my Minimalist CC Icon Mod would be broken with this patch (v1.99 July 18/2023 Ceiling/Horse Ranch Patch), but when I went to update it after updating my game all the resources look exactly the same as when I updated it for the previous patch. 🤔 In other words, it doesn't look like it needs updating at all for this patch.

Took a look with the current version (v1.98) of the wrench mod in my updated game and so far everything looks okay…? 😅

If you spot any issues, though, do let me know! With as much detail as possible— if you can— so I can work out what the problem is. :) <3

(Remember to always have the latest confirmed-working version installed when you go to update your game; and don't put broken mods back in until they've been confirmed working, or you've updated them for the current patch. <3

Also, always back up your /saves and /Tray folders before updating your game to guard against corrupted files or file loss!)

SURVIVE! Dev Log 04

Been a hot minute since I got a chance to properly work on this mod (uni was intense last semester) but I’ve got some updates!

One of the biggest updates is that I’ve finally stopped all walkby sims in every neighborhood of every world and I’ve stopped (almost) every phone call/text your sims get.  Probably will find a few I’ve missed during testing but it’s mostly done for now, yay!

In terms of new content;

Your survivor sims will get a nervous buff around any sim they don’t know now.

Sims in underground bunkers for an extended period of time will now get a Vitamin D deficiency.

You can scavenge or trade for basic hygiene products such as body spray, mouth spray and 3 in 1 shampoo. I’ve posted about the shampoo before but the sprays will restore hygiene.

Kids will be sent to ‘Survival Camp’ instead of daycare lol

You can send sims who live in your settlement out on individual or group scavenging and hunting runs. They will return with their loot that you will be able to take.

I’m pretty much at the stage where I’m just tying up loose end, bug fixing and adding super small stuff. Hoping I can just get stuck into it one last time and do enough work to push it into testing. Would be awesome to get it out before xmas but we’ll see.

Changes: Redid the 5 custom pregnant poses as of the ugly hand clipping. It's much better now but I couldn't avoid clipping in every aspect as it will still clip with e.g. wide clothes.

Wearable Backpacks

Changes: Patch compatibility update (Enchanted by Nature) - new ts4script file added

Thanks to FellowFur, I was finally able to make my backpacks work with the latest patch! YAY! He led me into the right direction to finally make the needed changes to EA's python code messing with my backpacks. There is a new ts4script file included which is needed for the mod to work now.
