These are my two new ocs. Scales & Kate

They first met when Kate was doing one of her business deals. The day they moved in together in Scale’s home was the day he was planning on eating her. In my monsterverse while there’s no set law preventing pred class monsters eating prey class monsters… it is still somewhat warned against and feared among said prey class monsters. But Scales was the first actual friend Kate made so she didn’t mind that he could potentially one day eat her. She also didn’t mind due to certain… interests of hers.

They first met when Kate was doing one of her business deals. She would visit him nearly everyday and soon they would form a close friendship… as they were for the most part both isolated. The day they moved in together in Scale’s home was the day he was planning on eating her. But he changed his mind when her house had been burned down by a rival craft maker. He has rules when he chooses his prey. 1.No children. 2. No monsters that could potentially kill him first. And 3. No one who has suffered any form of misfortune beforehand, he just feels too bad about making the situation worse through eating them. So he decides to just eat the arsonist instead. After Kate faints from her flusteredness he takes her to his home (it’s within the Colossus District). After she awakens she fully admits that she found him eating her rival hot. Also that she was okay with her home burning down because she had her supply bag for her crafting business. They make an agreement that while she continues on with her business… he’d eat anyone who stood in the way of her success. The two would eventually start dating as Kate found immense comfort in him despite his voracious tendencies and Scales genuinely enjoyed her company and affection after being alone for so long. Basically the times Scales eats her… he usually lets her out after a while. He does say she’s the sweetest one out of all the prey he’s had. I hope to draw more of them in the future.
