Bellagruntville Save Week Three: Caliente-Grunt update

“Love. Money. Family. It’s all part of the game isn’t it? I’m fine if people think this is a mercenary move. I’m okay if people think I married Ripp for the money I’ll admit that’s part of it. Is this partly because I found out Don Lothario is married? Or, on Ripp’s part, that his father married Bella Goth? I won’t pretend those things didn’t factor into it, but we are both adults. We make our own decisions I think this could be a good one. First step? Redoing the house. Who knows? Maybe I’ll find my nice in interior design.” --Dina Caliente Grunt

One of the perils of playing with lots of cc is when a new patch/update comes out and breaks a bunch of it, which yes, easily done if patient. After reloading my #Bellagruntville save full of bald, naked Sims in empty houses, I took the opportunity to refine my CAS folder. Makeovers for everyone it is,  I then lost patience when it came to the Build/Buy stuff, so all that right now is what the game provides. It’s...surprisingly, okay. Though once my favorite creators update, I will start adding that back in. Bella and Buzz’s wedding approaches, and #CassandraGoth is quite pleased with the fact that she will be inheriting the house.

Bellagruntville Save week three Lothario  Family Hey. Uh. So, this happened. Little man. Heath. We’re tight. He’s cool. Smart little booger. Always watching me (uh, yeah, but he can’t talk yet, so there’s that. We’re doing our best to give him a good start. His mom is fixing his room up. She’s home with him while I go bring home the bacon. The life of a pro athlete isn’t easy. I’m usally pooped, just enough time for some, uh, affection and then hit the hay. Some perks, though. We had the best guests at Heath’s birthday party. We got a new bar for the occasion. Victoria really likes that bar. Should I be concerned that her favorite drink is a Plasma Jane? It’s probably nothing. Right, babe? Mmmhmm.

Bellagruntville Save

Goth family, week three, pt 3 “It’s not that I don’t like Buzz. He’s cool. I mean, he’s kind of *really* into the army. Like, a lot. Which is good, I guess. My dad loved his lab stuff, and his, um, hobbies. I get three brothers out of the deal. I always wanted a brother. Tank and Rip are adults, too, so they can probably, uh, help with homework. Yeah. That’s what I meant. Is my mom going to see this? No reason. Buck is kind of my age. We’re...getting to know each other. He’s okay.”

Bellagruntville save: Grunt family, week two: Very short update on this one for a couple of reasons. One reason was real life and the other reason was I got High School Years, which of course I had to try to explore when I had not one but two teens going to said school. 

Do not ask me how it happened, but in the middle of class one day, Ripp got a notice that he had good enough grades to graduate early, so he noped on back home, presumably to play computer games and do laundry. I have a deep and abiding love for Sims laundry. 

Story progression had Buzz call one of my Calientes or Curiouses and confide that he found a ring in Bella’s possession, and suspected she might propose. Apparently, she did, and apparently, he said yes, as they are now engaged. 

Both Ripp and Tank have now graduated high school. Ripp has gone straight into the military career. He will probably keep the house when Buzz and Bella marry, Buck will accompany his father and start high school when he has his teen birthday. Bella still has teen Alexander at home, and Cassandra should be headed to uni at the same time as Ripp. For ease of play, I may make a dorm of all playables, or at least a house share, so all playble students are in the same place.

Goth Family, week two, part one

Despite Bella’s best efforts to summon Mortimer’s ghost, it seems he has indeed gone beyond the veil. This is good news for Buzz Grunt, as he and Bella are now officially dating. They’ll be taking it slow for the time being, but this seems like a good direction. They both have kids headed to Uni soon, and Buzz still has Buck in elementary school over in Oasis Springs. For now though, this is good.
