your hunger for knowledge was always going to be your downfall. you took time away from your duties for needless intellectual pursuits. you never wanted to truly learn, you just wanted to say that you knew. the next thing you remember is plunging into hellfire. but even hellfire could not stop your desire to consume. finding the gateway was an accident but shoving your way through it wasn’t. you had never seen earth nor met any humans. you care little for the second but the first, the first you would’ve killed someone over. it’s all about knowing for you, knowing what it is to be human.
