Port Royal Living
This week, Wendy Berry of W Design invited us in to a recently completed project for our Vol. 6 photoshoot, and we were in love. We were bubbling with excitement as we pulled up to the gates donning the perfect shade of blue, a foresight for the entirety of the home. As we crossed the threshold and started into the gorgeous Port Royal abode, we were greeted with a lovely combination of blonde wood floors and transitional furnishings. The blue and white color scheme continued throughout, as did our delight!
Hands down, our favorite room in the house was the kitchen! The enormous white marble kitchen islands were beautifully accented by the Ohio-made metal chandeliers. The hardware was out of this world and well suited for the coastal-chic vibe Wendy intended. The banquette seating area was quaint and charming and ideal for a family gathering. Just off the kitchen was an envy-inducing powder bath.
The hues Wendy and her team used throughout the bedrooms highlighted the detailed finishing and artisan accents. We couldn’t help but be a little obsessed with the bunk room—a sophisticated approach with an execution that would have every kid begging for a sleepover (big kids included!)
What we enjoyed the most was the fact that even though each room had it’s own personality, they tied wonderfully into the next. Wendy has a knack for designing a character-filled home, perfectly suited for the modern family’s everyday enjoyment, and this Port Royal home was no different. We are thrilled to have such a beautiful home featured in the upcoming TSG Naples Vol. 6, and even more excited to welcome Wendy and W Design back for another year! Stay tuned…
