Today, @sproutingteeth was to go to Summit college to set up our coffee and cake stand. We packed her van and she was ready to go out early this morning only to find that Eersterust was blocked. All entrances and exits were barricaded with burning tyres and refuse bins. We baked 20 chocolate cakes and 120 muffins yesterday and now we can't leave to sell them. We are gutted. Most of the protesters do not work so they do not care one way or another that they are disrupting our lives. The police officers cruising around Eersterust told me that it is not their job to clear the roads.
