Paratober continued! Let's get straight into it.
Day 8, 8. Who better to illustrate than our main antagonist of The Bootleg Parable?
Day 10, free prompt! Evandor and Stanlei, being the best of pals.
Day 12, new! Say hello to Stanley and Narry, base-game! These are the last ones we make, we swear.
Sort of.
User wished that he could vanish into the very wall that he was pressed against, feeling its cold, hard surface against his back and wanting nothing more than for it all to fall out from behind him. To hide him in its devastation. Tears were in his eyes, all of fear and hopelessness. He couldn't keep running. He was going to die here, and the worst part was, he had no idea where Teller was- if Teller was even present within the building or in life.
User was totally alone, with nowhere to go and nobody to go to.
"Sweet dreams are made of these~..."
That eerie lulling was back. User shuffled backward quickly, as quietly as he could, and forced his mouth into his hand, fighting down any sound or sob that bubbled up within him.
He could hear the dragging of the foe's fabrics, each a pull of an invisible leg that helped it to glide effortlessly across the ground. That vibrant, yellow glow was spreading across the nearby floor, and soon enough, along came two, blinding arrows, just barely highlighting User's figure from behind the wall. His eyes began to water again.
"I travel the world and the seven seas..."
It stopped. Its head turned. User held his breath.
I'm not here.
I'm not here.
I'm....
God, where am I...
The shuffling soon continued, and it sauntered down the hall with the trailing singing of the beast. Its figure, illuminated in yellow, gradually vanished around a corner.
"Everybody's looking for something..."
User could've sworn his heart stopped. The room was spinning. His head was reeling.
He let go of the breath that he was holding to take in another one, still minding his volume despite his overwhelming relief and remaining strands of lingering panic. Good. It was gone, but it wouldn't be gone for long. He needed to get as far away from these halls as possible.
But maybe...without sprinting, this time.
Totally unrelated doodles, we just find them it amusing.
