Oh my god, I just have to say THANK YOU for being the one in a million people who do not ship random ass boyxboy pairings, especially in Kuroko no Basket. I am seriously tired of seeing all that shit (excuse my language). The show isn't even about shipping/romantic relationships. I wish people would just stop because it just makes the whole thing annoying for me! So thank you for actually getting me interested and not turned off about certain shows! I really like your new theme btw! <3
I actually understand your point. There is a certain homosexuality (boyxboy) fetishizing above fangirls. I don't care what people ships but when people jumps on EVERY relationship boys share with each other (as friend, brother, rival, bestfriend etc.) and furthering it with treating the whole series as some kind of sausage party (some of them bashes the female characters badly too) just like in Kuroko no Basuke fandom, it certainly starts to annoy people who doesn't agree with them. You come to the point of you can't even track tags in tumblr without getting annoyed, not to decrease the patience, you stop tracking tags, add some people to your blacklist, that's what I do.
I'm not into bl/yuri stuff in general yes while I don't hate anyone because of their orientation. I'm againts bullying, desolating and I don't care whoever lives the way they want as long as they act as 'human'. People are responsible with themselves and I don't have the right to interfere, not just in this subject, in general, I believe that. I don't care if I'm called homophobic just becuz I'm not into homosexual pairings either. I ship and call some of my pairings as OTP yes but I'm not that passionate about them, I don't even remember if I even cried over 'OTP feels' (I can rarely get in hyper mood only I think? idk) just like tumblr fandoms say, tbh.
Some posts in tumblr like this or this, this, this, this, this and this also says something about the fangirls treating some series. Actually Good_Haro's entry "Fetishizing Homosexuality" is more detailed and is better written than mine so~
