one thing i love about the phm fandom is the sheer amount of people who love stratt. like so many other fandoms would overlook her or hate her or reduce her into an evil caricature because shes a woman in a powerful position who did something bad to the white boy protagonist but the phm fandom ADORES her. and theyre right. eva stratt the character ever

grace probably mentions in the video logs that rocky gave him fuel to go home (someone on another post pointed out that they were recording during the convo where rocky said he would and grace probably didnt think to edit it out, so even if he doesnt mention it, its definitely in there) so do you think as stratt is watching it for the first time, she gets a bit of hope because like. he’ll be mad when he remembers, and he’ll probably never forgive her and will likely yell at her, but he’ll be alive and home to do that. he has the chance to do all that now. she sent him to die and he gets to live

and then she gets to the final video and that hope is almost completely snuffed out because while shes proud of him for being brave and making that tough decision, she really did send him to die in space after all. he will never get the chance to be angry with her face to face. hes never going to get to see earth again. she had let herself briefly have hope of seeing him again and then had it immediately taken away

i feel like 2026 is the year of aro and ace positivity because i have never seen THIS much support and love for aromanticism and asexuality before this year like even ignoring the years of extreme aphobia ive experienced this is still WAY more than im used to. im so happy. i hope it stays this way. we need more aro and ace positivity

i think if neil was more in tune with how attraction works, he wouldve said “you wanna fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid” to at least one person (likely riko but possibly andrew closer to the beginning of knowing him) and it wouldve gotten him stabbed immediately

the fact that grace sees himself walking on the beach on erid when he’s in the don’t-go-crazy room earlier in the movie is super cool and i love the hopeful nature of it but it’s also so so funny to me like ok i guess we’re just casually giving him visions of the future. he’s a seer now. why not

thinking about how the monsters get ice cream before they go to edens. i know they originally started going to sweeties for cracker dust but they could easily just eat dinner while theyre there instead of getting ice cream. but no, they want a little sweet treat before clubbing. thats so cute. everyone calls them monsters and theyre just over here with ice cream sundaes for their family night out. adorable little losers

thinking about how everyone portrays aaron as full blown hating neil and like yeah hes mad neil stuck his nose into his business and is hooking up with his brother, but aaron looked upset about neil being hurt in baltimore when neil made it to the hotel room, aaron didnt say anything to the fbi on neils behalf to protect him just like the rest of the foxes, aaron didnt refute nickys claim that itd be a unanimous vote for neil to stay after baltimore, aaron helped matt move the couch for them all to sleep in matt and neils room after baltimore and was part of the sleepover, aaron congratulated neil after learning about ichirous deal because he was glad neil wouldnt be killed, aaron spotted that andrew would fight for neil before neil even knew, aaron let neil move in with andrew (yes, most of it was to keep katelyn away from andrew but he couldve just not brought her to the dorm)

hes mad at neil and will likely hold a grudge for ages, but he still cares. he still cares
