In fiction and folklore, a doppelgänger is a look-alike or double of a living person, sometimes portrayed as a paranormal phenomenon, and in some traditions as a harbinger of bad luck. In other traditions and stories, they recognize your ‘double-goer’ as an evil twin.
In Breton mythology as well as in Cornish and Norman French folklore, the doppelgänger is a version of the Ankou, a personification of death.

I admit, when @lynburnboy and I chose “The Forbidden” as a theme, I immediatly thought to the Forbidden Arts in Swan Princess, and then I had to realize it.
So… still a week left to read #TellTheWindAndFire. And we can’t wait!
Theme - MAGIC
9 days left till we can read #TellTheWindAndFire by @sarahreesbrennan and it’s time to celebrate one of its main theme. I literally love this manip my sweet Rò realised!
Theme - POWER
Identifying which are the powers in a book you didn’t read is pretty difficult. And we hadn’t many snippets, either. So, we tried to think about what we knew and we conjured up this image: - in the background, you can see the sans-merci as we imagine them (like these not-so-morally-good knights); - in the foreground we have two “people of the light”: Stryker Dad (who we think isn’t a good person at all) and our heroine Lucie. Also, power of secrets.
In 11 days we’ll find out if we were right ;)
