7-years ago we lost Taika Seiyu Oyata. I loved the time I spent learning from this man and his students. Oyata was a truly unique individual, to which I have never seen another like him. He opened my eyes to an entirely different approach to Okinawa Martial Arts, and unintentionally set me on the path to learning Chinese & Indonesian Martial Arts as well.
