All Knotted Up: Crystal Jewelry
A few years ago I learned how to carve and drill stone. At the time my schtick was pairing runes from the Elder Futhark synergistically with crystals. That was definitely in the middle of my "I'm-definitely-not-pagan-what-are-you-talking-about?" Phase.
I was so cute back then if up to my ears in denial, lol.
Anyways, I've gotten reinspired lately and this time I've been combining knot work with the drilled and carved crystals. Without further ado here are some recent creations
My favorite so far. Raw rose quartz, sunstone, citrine, aventurine, aquamarine, and amethyst on black leather cord
Up next, raw amethyst bracelet. Did I mention I love alternating square knots with crystals? A+ combo, 10/10 would do again!
At this point, I'd like to take a moment to squee about how beautiful and amazing raw crystals are. *squeeeeeeeeeee*
Next up, a funky, experimental piece I did with raw sunstone and ocean jasper beads
This one here is lapis lazuli with the rune for strength from the Mortal instruments book series. This one was a commission piece.
We found this adorable little metaphysical shop by my partner's house. They had quartz points for only 25 cents! Of course I bought some and of course one of them had to be drilled and turned into a bracelet
That's all for now. I will post more crafty stuff in the future!
