Now & Then
Well, this is odd. The last time I wrote anything on this platform I had just left behind my teenage years and Tumblr was still a baby blog. I’m sure that if I tried really hard I could find the remnants of those lost archaic thoughts and moments.
This time, it feels different. I’m mature and wise older. I’m still here for the same reasons that I was then, only then I was much more lost and unaware of how badly I wanted outward validation. I'm also medicated and in therapy now. On paper things are now pretty amazing, yet I still feel just as insecure as I did then.
Life is a trip.
