The Anniversary Of A New Beginning (Some RF4 Dylas Spoilers!)

It was often Dylas came to the Water Ruins, in fact, the last time he had been there was the day in which Frey defeated Raiden and in his place left Dylas,

Walking through the ruins, he spotted a familiar stone tablet in the main entrance of the dungeon, so to speak. Cautiously, he came closer to the tablet, tracing a finger through the writing etched onto the gray stone--

"To everyone in town, I'm very moved to know how you all felt about me back then. To be honest, I didn't think too highly of myself or the town at the time. But now I realize just how precious you all are. And how precious my own life is. Or maybe I shouldn't think of myself that way. Maybe it's vain, or egotistical. And please don't blame the King for this, he felt the same as you ..."

"Thank you, everyone. Farewell."

Those were his parting words to the world as he knew it, at least in that lifetime.

Dylas bit his lower lip, his forehead lightly pressed against the cool surface of the rock as the half-man, half-beast shut his eyes as if he was in physical pain.

Today was the anniversary in which he was transformed into one of the four guardians of the Kingdom of Selphia.

The day that  changed his fate.
