"Sonic— Of course I’m not being serious!

"Y'er really pushin' y'er luck tonight aren't ya bud?... DIDN'T WE MEET KNUCKLES TOGETHER?"
Tails nearly flew into the roof from the sudden interruption, his heart practically soaring out of his chest. When he regained himself, he spun around to see the owner of the very shoes on his feet giving him an all too unsettling stare.
"Uh— I—", Tails began saying, scampering to take off the shoes, not at all gracefully as he hopped about and nearly fell several times. "Um— It’s— I— No, no, I’m fine— I was just— Uh— I was just leaving, y-yeah!"
All that was given to the fox was a glare from this blue hedgehog.
Tails had done himself into this situation. Sonic didn't really say much at the moment... He was more or less glaring down at his own shoes on SOMEONE ELSE'S feet. Mainly to make sure they weren't damaged..
"......You better take my shoes off before you leave, lil' bud."

Well, that was some bad luck. Though random portals had stopped appearing, they'll still appear now and then, and right now happens to be that time. Tails was heading somewhere until he fell into one. Somehow, he was falling pretty fast, because when he arrived in a new dimension he crashed head first into the ground and got half buried. Hopefully someone's around.
