Happy Thanksgiving! I can honestly say that I didn’t anticipate a second C0VID-19 holiday season at this time last year. Now I just officially expect the rest of our lives to be this way. Any change will be a massively pleasant surprise. Our plans can be changed at the last minute, our venues can be rearranged, but we still made it happen. Danielle even figured out how to create a turkey dinner for 9 (plus 2 dogs) in less than a day. Over the past few years, I have learned to be incredibly grateful for the ability of my family and friends to pivot and right the ship in the most hectic of waters. And to say our waters have been hectic is an understatement, but they have also taught us what we value, and how we show up for each other. Open and frank conversations about hard things, excitedly celebrating the big and small victories and the most well placed meme or gif or reference gets us through. While things will always change, and apparently being an adult means that days are filled with good and bad things, I give thanks for the people who help me through all of those moments. #happythanksgivingday #canadianthanksgiving #gratitudeattitude #familytime #turkeyplease #turkeyday2021 #herewegoagain #anotheryear #grateful🙏 #lovesofmylife❤️ #myfamilymyteam #friendsandfamily #friendsthatarefamily (at Vancouver, British Columbia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CU5tdK2hWsL/?utm_medium=tumblr
