Spending 2 weeks nursing a 3 week kitten back to thriving life from an illness. Then having to give him to the shelter to find a new home for him after falling madly in love with the little guy. He required constant care but he's so fricken adorable.
Finding out my baby brother may have rapidly growing malignant tumour on his pancreatic tail.... which happened the Friday before Father's Day.
Him finding out his wife is cheating on him with her coworker. Which happened on Father's day. The woman she's cheating with is also cheating on her wife. At least my little brother made a new friend.
My brother coming to my house for three days just to be somewhere safe in case he chose to self-harm. He can't work, has a host of physical disabilities from work, and now is in constant pain on top of the tumour, and was being supported by soon-to-be-ex-wife, who decided to open a separate bank account and left him with an overdrawn account, despite him having to care for their 3 under age kids {15, 10, 6} and pets, with no means to do so.
My 16 year old cat, Erik, needing to see the vet about his teeth. Finally got him in with the vet after 2 weeks. They are gonna have to pull his remaining teeth, so he will literally be toothless when they are done. Estimated at 1200 $$$ plus blood-work.
Still need to get new tires for the car because of increased commute for husband, because work from home became must go into office every day.
Had to buy a new ac out of pocket for the house as the old one died unexpectedly, despite outside recorded temps being 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit or 34+ degrees Celsius. And I am sure that there's a laundry list of minor inconveniences going on that escape me right now. So my apologies for not being around, it's just... BLERG.
