This delicious pizza from Tuscany has ricotta cheese that melts in your mouth, earthy mushrooms, and healthy Tuscan kale. It has just the right amount of flavors and textures to satisfy your pizza cravings.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1 cup ricotta cheese. 1 cup Tuscan kale, chopped. 1 cup mushrooms, sliced. 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Red pepper flakes optional. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Spread the dough out on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Place the olive oil and minced garlic in a small bowl. Mix them together, and then brush the mixture all over the pizza dough. Put the ricotta cheese on top of the dough in a thin layer. Spread the chopped Tuscan kale and sliced mushrooms out evenly on top of the ricotta. Put mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables. If you want, you can add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the pizza. It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take it out of the oven and give it a minute or two to cool down.
