asdhjkl at what point is this poor lad gonna get back, like, joy, or contentment?
That... was really sweet. I know we’re only four episodes in, but the dedication this show has shown so far to making all its ‘villains’ be people in great distress who are settled with love and acceptance just makes me really emotional. I adore that. Not that I don’t love a good nasty villain too, but this is a really beautiful thing.
Sorry I was so out of it all day; I hope it didn’t affect the blog too much. See you all next time!
Seeking a Tutu screener!
Hi, folks!
Now that I’m caught up on Owl House, Princess Tutu will be my main blogging focus for a while! Unfortunately, we’re approaching the point where my screener isn’t actually ahead of me in that show, so I’m seeking another.
If you’d be willing to be added to the asks blog and check any Tutu-related asks for spoilers, then huck the safe ones at me as screenshots via Discord maybe once a week (if there are asks once a week, sometimes there aren’t any lol), hit me up! I guess you can do that via the ask blog itself; I doubt my screener will mind passing those along :)
It just doesn’t stop being dance therapy, and the way she’s so calm and understanding and loving as Tutu makes me wish so badly that Ahiru could turn that love and acceptance back around onto herself.
being able to start off your litany of sorrows with “I’m a bird” must be at least a little satisfying
Ah, I’m really glad you’re enjoying them, thank you! I’m looking forward to getting back to Tutu, even though Owl House is consuming my imagination at the moment haha. And thank you for that extra information! It really is lovely how they’re winding in the lore of classic ballet.
Not to get philosophical over these goofy faces but I find it kind of fun how despite her immensely shitty self-esteem Ahiru doesn’t just fold over when the other kids push her? She calls Fakir out on his bullshit, and she’s not giving in to Rue’s weird demand here. Mytho, who seems to be so out of it he probably doesn’t have much self-image at all (in any direction, positive or negative) immediately knuckles under to whatever they say, but Ahiru isn’t taking it.
