You know, I could very much be eating my words with what I'm about to say (given how my knowledge of the story so far is second handed and I only JUST started Beast Yeast) but it feels like narratively Butter Roll Cookie wanting to bake the perfect Cookie should be really important because White Lily Cookie also wanted to do that and it lead to the event that would create Dark Enchantress Cookie/make White Lily Cookie corrupt

And if this is wrong and it is actually more important narratively than I thought, please let me know (with proof). Because a character mirroring the motivations and actions of two/one major character would be a bigger deal in a different story in some way narratively

My key takeaways from Timeline of Fate's 8th chapter:

- PV is so used to cookies only being able to be sympathetic, and not empathetic, for him. It's morphed into a savior complex. Shadow Milk and Lily aren't like that and it makes him feel unworthy. Subconsciously scared he won't relate enough... So he tries everything else to ease that pain. Only now realizing its his own fears that are getting in the way of a deeper connection. He has to let them talk about uncomfortable topics without putting bandages on.

- White Lily wants to be reborn because having DE's memories brings a new kind of clarity she vows to remember. She is bitter with cookiekind. For ignoring her emotional questions that could bring light to her disability. Not hearing out the warnings given by her evil counterpart about their deadly fates. Being bestowed titles not of her own choosing. She hates herself for being angry with the world. So the chosen solution is to find joy in life. Hoping by the time a cookie body is granted, she'll feel that same admiration for her kind again. PV was so blinded by her gentle nature that he failed to notice the resentment brewing. Pushing her worries away like she was making it up... Though his love for her was too compassionate to be intentionally demeaning. He just wants peace, but the road to it is different, and dangerous, for some.

Cookie Run Spoilers Timeline of Fate Episode 8

Something I've been thinking about since White Lily Cookie is going to be reborn but as many other things in the cookie world. Does this mean that Dark Enchantress Cookie is also going to be reborn many other things as well? Since it was mentioned during the War that one can't be alive without the other since they're the same Cookie. Isn't this going to cause more problems? And maybe even worse if Dark Enchantress becomes a cookie again before White Lily does, assuming that is even possible?

Granted... the whole "one can't live without the other" thing has been flimsy already, since... you know. White Lily was in a dead state at the Fairy Kingdom but Dark Enchantress was fine. I mean they had to bring her back there using Elder Fairy's life powder so I assume she was dead. Unless the rules are that White Lily's body must exist in the world for Dark Enchantress to also exist and be fine. And when they dissolved then it counts as actually dead enough that the other can't exist. I just don't know.
