Coming Apart at the Seams || Genevieve and Eve
It was an unusually heavy and humid day, especially in Mystic Falls in the middle of the winter nonetheless. Unable to stand the heat by mid-day, the witch wet to open all the windows of the house and the door as well, but stopped at the sight that greeted her on the other side. It was Eve. Her babygirl she thought was long dead and fought everyday to move on from. In a flash Genevieve was out the door and had her hands wrapped tight around Eve's short frame, sobbing hard. Pulling back to take in her daughter's features and sad smile with greedy eyes, "I thought I'd lost you forever Evie....how-- how did you come back? The spirits wouldn't allow it no matter what..."
And the witch gasped awake, panting hard as the tears continued to flow down her cheeks. She was still in the back office of their shop. It was a dream. It was still a dream. Muffling a sob, Genevieve ran a hand through her curls to compose herself and looked up to see-- Eve. Again. But this time, she stayed put trying to decipher her reality from the dreams that her brain conjured up to save her from the all consuming grief. "Is that-- are you really here Evie?"
