Why you can’t resist watching TVF Pitchers all over again?
There have been numerous shows on televisions and more than that on YouTube. So many shows, so many channels. People watch and forget. But few of them make a mark on the ‘Mini Web-Series’ industry.
TVF Pitchers has recently been in the news and among all the startup buffs. And with its recently released “Making of TVF Pitchers” video, people are getting crazy. Here’s why Pitchers’ concept is such a hit even months after its release.
Startups are trending
Gone are the days when TV series on social issues were a hit. Today, startups are trending and when you show it on air, youth relates to it. And those shows are a real big hit when it connects to it.
No unnecessary exaggeration
There were times when daily soaps used to last ages. I mean 10 years. And when you are done with that, you realize you have wasted a decade of your life. But then you land up to a series of 5 episodes. No exaggerated dialogues, no overstated scenes. Less and effective. Be it the dialogues, the characters, the number of episodes or the situation depiction.
Girlfriend’s sense of humor
After the completion of this show, boys idealize Naveen Bansal’s girlfriend. And why someone would not. I mean maturity spiced up with a great sense of humour. Unlike typical girlfriends these days. Even the last emotional scene of Naveen choosing the idea of his startup over his girlfriend, Shreya nailed it by her dialogue – Teen mahine ka window.
Mandal’s character
This character has spoken the reality of almost every MBA PG. From the ‘rattafication’ of ‘Tell me something about yourself’ to making slide show presentations on every single thing especially spending 6 hours finalizing the ‘Thankyou’ font to make a lasting impression, this character has depicted every typical MBA’s, beautifully.
The ambience of Dungeon’s hostel
Sorry, it’s Dungeon_Master <grin>. When it was about showing reality in every possible way, the master stroke was the creation of the character of Yogi’s relative. There was a curiosity while Yogi and Jeetu going through the gallery of the hostel. Buckets stumbling, dim lights, the girl coming out of a random room, graffiti on the walls. Everything perfectly placed and created. The background music and the room turned into gaming zone was a cherry on the cake.
Lastly the dialogues
The dialogues are the forte of TVF shows. And Pitchers nailed it. “Tum State Board wale ho, tum toh chup hi raho”, “You can never convince a woman who gives you sex” gave you giggles while some dialogues like “Why to get scared in failing at such an early stage”, “Decision toss kar ke liya tha, Toss ka decision dekh ke nahi” left you pondering.
The recently released "Making of TVF Pitchers Season 1" revived and refreshed the epic scenes with amazing dialogues, again. A bow to the entire team especially the people behind the scenes. This is something to be watched again. TVF Play, here I come! Go people, it’s never the last time to watch it.
