GakuMas Motif Flowers

Compiled some info that I think is maybe less noticeable to overseasPs. In an official interview for 4gamer, KominoP (Hidefumi Komino) mentioned that the GakuMas idols were made with a flower motif in mind:

4Gamer: 例えば，どんなネタがあるのでしょう。 "What kind of trivia [did you want to share]?" KominoP: 各アイドルのモチーフは花です，とか。 "That every idol's motif is a flower, for example." 4gamer: へええ，なるほど……うーん。勘づいている人は少なくないのでしょうが，個人的には看板役の名前が 「花」 海 「咲」 季と直球すぎて，逆に考えたことない……。 "Oh, I see... Hm. I'm sure that many people have sensed that, but since the name of the main character "Hana"mi "Sa"ki is so direct, I never considered otherwise..." KominoP: 僕も「実はモチーフはこれでした！」とか絶対に言わないと決めてたんですけど，あまりに気付いてもらえなさすぎて（笑）。ブランドロゴのハチドリもそこからとっています。こういう，話す機会がないネタをいっぱいストックしているんです。 "I had decided that I would never say, "This was the motif!", but then, only a few people noticed. While there are hints for the flowers for each idol in their names and designs, the most direct confirmation we have for their motif flowers are the above collab artworks for Animate and HANA BIYORI.

I mainly used hananokotoba.com as reference, so all flower meanings and birth flowers are based on Japan's language of flowers and birth flower assignments.
