It is kind of weird for me that the guy was waiting 11 years to go public with all this stuff in Chicago. But from another point of view it’s definitely good that it was revealed. I guess it is not the first case of such a kind and it finally shows that the nhl is definitely not the league of gentlemen and there is so much dirt behind the scenes. p.s. if I’m not mistaken after all this happened, he was hired to coach some junior team in the States? How could that ever happen…
This creepy coach does not randomly choose his victims. I think he's a pedophile. The victim is the one who easily succumbs to influence, suggestion, fear, the one who has no help, the one who is under stress, the one who lives outside the home ... This whole story is about the psychology of the victim. Did you know that only 40% of victims of an attack start screaming and calling for help?
The guy was hurt at least 5 times:
1. Sexual abuse;
2 psychological abuse;
3. unskilled psychological assistance;
4. inaction of the club's management;
5. his rapist won the Stanley Cup and was not deprived of the celebration.
Probably 10-12 years ago, the topic of gay sex and especially sex abuse was not perceived as loyal as it is now. He had to think about how events would develop, how the NHL would accept it, he thought about his girlfriend. I understand why he did that. We were lucky that he decided on this! 🙌
